Costco is considering selling the abortion drug, mifepristone, after the FDA removed the in-person dispensing requirement and now allows pharmacies to dispense the drug to anyone with a prescription, whether in person or by mail order. The FDA has sought to expand access to mifepristone after several states implemented abortion bans following the fall of Roe v Wade.
Join us in asking Costco to make the right choice to protect women and unborn children and NOT begin selling mifepristone. Costco is not legally required to dispense this drug and would only do so because of the extreme pressure from politicians and radical abortion activists. As Costco members, investors, and citizens, Costco executives need to hear from us!

Dear Mr. Vachris,
As Costco members, investors, and fellow citizens, we are writing to inform you that we do not support Costco pharmacies selling the abortion drug, mifepristone.
We strongly encourage you to make the right decision to protect women and unborn children and to take a stand against the extreme political pressure being put on you to provide this drug, despite the moral and legal implications of such a decision.
As you know, Walgreens partially reversed their decision to dispense mifepristone after receiving a letter from 20 attorneys general pointing out the federal law prohibiting abortion drugs from being sent through the mail and the dangers of unsupervised use of mifepristone. Walgreens has decided to not dispense in the 20 states that asked them not to. We believe this development is a step in the right direction and shows the potential legal cost of your decision.
More importantly, we implore you to consider whether Costco will be known for taking a stand for the lives of vulnerable women and unborn children and not allowing your pharmacies to be used in this manner, or for caving to the demands of politicians and radical abortion activists who want to keep abortion widely available, despite the clear wishes expressed by states who have banned the procedure. We strongly recommend that Costco stay out of divisive political issues that will only serve to alienate your customer base.
Thank you for considering the voices of your members, investors, and fellow citizens in this matter.
Sincerely, The Undersigned
