Help support our engagement efforts this proxy seasonThis engagement season, Inspire Investing has been actively engaging some of the world’s largest companies, speaking Biblical truth to corporate power. We have already engaged over 1,100 companies that employ over 34 million employees! We and our coalition partners have filed over 60 shareholder resolutions (more than double the level we have filed last year) on issues of importance to Christian investors such as protecting life, stopping censorship, ending discrimination, and protecting children from sexual exploitation. For its part, Inspire is on track to file over 20 resolutions.
Given that many of these shareholder proposals will now appear on the proxy ballot and be voted on at company annual meetings in 2025,
we need a show of support. We are, therefore, asking you to add your name to a supporting statement (Notice of Exempt Solicitation) on our proposals.
What are Notice of Exempt Solicitations (NES)?
A Notice of Exempt Solicitation (NES) is a standard engagement tool which allows shareholders and other interested parties to register their opinion on upcoming issues at annual company meetings. Last engagement season, Inspire Investing organized a campaign to get asset managers and investment advisors to sign Notices of Exempt Solicitation (NES) in order to encourage shareholders to support resolutions filed by our coalition. Through your efforts, we received over 100 signatures, representing over $250 billion in assets under management/advisement, and Inspire ended up filing over 20 separate NES's (
